Contact details and trip parameters you submit through our forms: name, email, travel dates, routes, cabin preferences, and similar details you give us so we can do the work.

Loyalty program balances. We ask which programs you hold points or miles in and roughly how many, because that is what a card strategy or an award search is built around.

Analytics data collected automatically when you visit the site: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and cookie identifiers.

We use a small number of outside services to run the site and the business. Each one processes only what its function needs.

Google Analytics: site analytics. PostHog: product analytics. Jotform: the flight research request form, including the payment taken on that form. Google Sheets, via a Google Apps Script we operate: waitlist signups. Zcal: scheduling fit calls. Vercel: hosting the site.

The site uses cookies from Google Analytics (GA4) and PostHog. GA4 measures traffic and page views. PostHog measures how visitors use the site, so we can see which pages and paths are working.

PostHog also records sessions on this site: the pages you move through and how you interact with them, played back as a session recording. Text you type into fields is masked and is not captured. We use it to find where the site is confusing, not to identify you, and the forms that take your personal and payment details are hosted outside this site.

Neither tool is used to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not run ad retargeting.

We ask for your loyalty program balances so an audit or a search can be built around what you actually hold. We never ask for account passwords, and we never log into any of your loyalty, card, or travel accounts. You keep control of every account, and every booking is made by you.

Payment for flight research is handled by Jotform and its payment processors. We do not store your card number, and we never see it in full.

We keep the information above for as long as we need it to deliver the service and to keep a record of what was requested and paid for, and delete or anonymize it after that unless we are required to keep it longer.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@thepointsppl.com.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

This site and our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
